Thank you. I a m just a dumb woman so it is wonderful to get some info about why the diverter is sticking and how to fix it.
Why "bulb grease". Do these things get so hot they get stuck?
@@PanamaSticks keeps corrosion down, moisture out, and conductivity up
Great tip - had the same problem with my SKB golf case, i.e., wheels 'chunked out'. Company was great replacing them for me.
👍
do you know anything about changing bulbs for the AC and air circulate/intake buttons right above the knobs?
I watched a lot of these videos showing the cause of the drip had to be a bad cartridge. I ordered a new cartridge from a "plumbing supply store", it was the correct make, but they gave me one with a 1/4 turn. It didn't not line up with the faucet handle! Being I was fixing one side; I also bought a new spring kit for $2.99. So, for the heck of it, I put that new kit in and checked to see it the dripping stopped, it did. Don't always assume it a bad cartridge!
Do you plug it in to test the switch. How do you know once replaced it's fixed? Do you replace then plug in after closing the handle back up?
Yuppers
Hi! I can't find the video for the upper part of the dash. Is it uploaded?
Look at my video for replacing a window wiper switch
Can't find that either

Helped me do it first try. Thanks!!
My problem isn’t corrosion, but hard water. Now I know how to clear it. Thanks 😊
I have a Remington electric blower/vac. Same kind of setup. How did you open the case? I removed All the screws but it just doesn’t want to break apart. Any suggestions?

hi, what did you use to clean the external covering? polish? thanks!
I started with a fine rubbing compound, then carnuba wax on the covering and bearing edges after I touched those up.
I can't find them anywhere.. how did you find the replacement website.. thank you

Thank you mate a lot easier than I thought 😊
Nicely done. I did the above to my none working $3 second hand Stihl (not working). It now would blow the roof off a house!
Excellent video…Excellent! Was having the same issue with the gate getting stuck. Great information!
Nice presentation however, I want my switch to be further away from the unit I am powering. So does it matter if I add 3 feet to this equation and have the switch further away from the power unit ?
To explain further. This wire would be in conduit, the fan is higher up on the ceiling.
Oh I see. Nope. You’re good
Think of it this way: residential lighting works that way all the time. A switch on the wall controls something in the ceiling. Right?
Yes S
@@JayferRattrap Yes Sir ! Thanks for reassuring me. Same principal applies in residential wiring when the feed is at the light ,you would have to bring the black wire down to the switch like I’m doing.👍
I now own this, I love it. I’m doing a custom leather interior in it, billet wheels and a little more. Feel free to contact me if you’d like to see it again or pictures of it now. Thanks!! Sean
She’s in good hands for sure!
Finally, a straightforward answer. Thank you.
Good to see you are still making videos!
Have you seen the Country Squire videos?
Good job
You made it so easy!! Thank you
Exactly what I needed! 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for sharing this. I know I'm late to the party, but I noticed the main cord has copper wiring and the motor has a silver/grey-colored wire. Is it okay to connect the two, and does anyone know what the grey wire is? Is it aluminum? Thanks all!
It’s not aluminum but I’m not sure what it is. Yes you can connect the two
Thank you@@JayferRattrap for responding. I know a magnet doesn't stick to it. It looks like galvanized steel, and it seems to have at least some copper in it. I notice it on some older AC motors. Anyway, have a good one man...
I do this on my pearl snares this process is so good its for fine motor Skills to
Do you still have this car? I have a few questions. Thanks
Yes I do
Wondering if you could tell me how the spare tire, jack assembly, and the tire sling mount
I’m sorry for the late response. The car is in storage for the winter but I plan to get down there this weekend. I will take pictures and send them to your email if you want. I’ll need an email address.
For as cheap as the bulbs are i was going to replace all the instrument cluster bulbs and the bulbs you replaced in this video and the automatic transmisson bulbs. Do you know where i can find all the bulbs types and how many of them i need. I have alot out on my camry and i figured if I am going to change a few might as well change them all.
Thank you this helped sooooo much you r a life saver
Glad it helped! Be sure to check out my other videos. Always looking for suggestions too.
This is the best explanation of how the diverter works that I have read yet.
Very catchy riff. Thumbs up for the video. I may ask you to do one for me someday.
Punchy Acoustic. Love it.
What vocal mic is that Job?
Smart video team.
Man the punch in the bass. Voices mixed. This is it for me. A master of all trade got his way.
Very punchy mix. It's today's power. Love it.
stumbled on his tutorials (Logic and Amplitude) and I'm a real fan. You're a good guy. Just follow your passion man.
True musician. It's tough to have time to perfect every aspect of technology. Job well done though.
A real groover on the fly improvising.
Fyi the #74 bulbs were not the right part for my 1997 Camry
I bought #74 bulbs beforehand. To my dismay I discovered the two bulbs popped out. I used new bulbs anyway.
Excellent ! Very good job
Genuis!!!
Came across video after viewing your trip lever drain adjustment video, very helpful btw. You have a very eclectic channel! Cool song. Not my typical style but I enjoyed. Also, are you by chance familiar with the Stormlight Archive series? I’m big fan (the audiobooks are great and available via many public libraries) and think you may enjoy as well. Have a great day, friend.
Haven’t heard of it but I will check it out
Honestly the best video on the subject at hand. Everyone else calls it a "restoration" then proceeded to just disassemble and clean the drums, while others just rattle can everything. This is exactly what was needed. Thanks. Ps: Any recommendations for good sources of vintage drum parts?
No unfortunately. Things change so fast and each hardware issue is so unique, I just go with a typical search. Glad you like the video.
Please tell everyone you know about my channel and videos and let me know what topics you would like covered
When saying 'hitting the black to the ground', is the ground just the metal of the light enclosure that is in the ceiling?
A lot of times yes. It’s usually a wire that is attached to the housing that you connect to
Good video. To the point. Thank you!
Thanks. Fixing a friends faucet, this was helpfull.
So you ripped out the capacitor
Just a note here - I did all this, both bulbs burnt out, and they wouldn't illuminate after replacement. Checked fuses and everything was fine. Pulled it apart again and wiggled the bulbs in and out and they lit up. The problem was the tiny wire connector on the new bulbs. Had to lift it off the glass with a fingernail slightly for both and then both worked. These were Philips bulbs as well. If you install and they don't illuminate - check the bulb connection before anything else.
Manufacturing definitely isn't perfect so you bring up a good point. I might check for corrosion on the housing side if your fix doesn't work before I assumed anything major was wrong as well.
